Launched after a full season's testing by the ARAI MotoGP and Grand Prix riders: The RX-7 GP is the range-topping ARAI helmet. Completely newly developed 'from the ground up', from shell and interior right through to the visor system. Uniquely, the construction meets both the mandatory European ECE Regulation 22-05 and the new SNELL M2010 standard. The structural net composite (SNC) shell with peripheral belting and enhanced hyper ridge strengthening in the lower section represents Arai's most advanced engineering to date. Other benefits include a larger neck opening to make the helmet more comfortable to put on and with the centre of gravity moved lower, the helmet sits more naturally and reduces fatigue. Changes to the quick release visor have increased peripheral vision while the switches on the vents are now bigger, making them easier to operate wearing gloves. A five-position air wing has been introduced between the twin diffusers, designed to reduce drag, turbulence and buffeting.
