GetGeared Deliveries


Where we deliver to	GetGeared delivers to all of the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland and the British Isles) as well as Eire and selected other European destinations, Australia and New Zealand. The delivery times stated apply to UK Mainland. Please add 2-3 working days for other regions to the times stated. All items destined for a UK or Eire address will be despatched by either courier service or, in the circumstances where this is better for you, First Class post. To find out when you will receive an item, you need to consider the availability of the item you ordered, which is explained below.	(to top)

Delivery times and availability	Availability messages are shown on the item's product page (the page on which the item's name, image and details are displayed). Most gear is available straight away; selected styles and sizes are only available ‘on special order’ or have a leadtime. Availability is indicated with the following messages:

	In Stock We have it in stock or it is due in imminently. We should be able to get it to you within 7 days (and aim for delivery within 48 hours of despatch to the UK Mainland; 95% of orders get to you in that time). An email alert is sent to you on the day of despatch.
	Estimated despatch in (X) weeks Normally in stock but we had to get some more of this one. It's been ordered. If the manufacturer has stock available we will send it to you in the next 2-3 weeks, the moment we receive it in the warehouse! (i.e. X = 2-3 weeks). If the manufacturer has to produce some more we will give you our best indication of when we can send it to you (i.e. X = a number of weeks).
	Special Order Item Estimated despatch in (X) weeks This is a ‘special order’ item and normally we get it to you in 2-4 weeks (i.e. X = 2- 4 weeks); Practically, that means we order it especially for you and deliver it as soon as we can. If the manufacturer has to specifically manufacture the item for you, we will give you our best indication of when we can send it to you (i.e. X = a number of weeks).

	Out of stock items and Special order items, we ‘back order’ for you; you can always cancel the order while you wait up to the day before the despatch email is sent to you, and we won't send the item out (if we receive your cancellation after sending you the despatch email, the returns process kicks in with our 90 days no-quibble guarantee). For Out of stock items and Special order items: if you order those we take it you agree to the stated delivery times. Just to make sure you don’t forget this thing is coming your way, we will email you when we despatch your gear. Note: To reduce the delivery charge you pay to a minimum, we despatch orders when all items are available. If your order contains an item that is indicated as currently out of stock (orange message or blue message), as well as items that are in stock (green message), we can arrange part shipping. This will incurr an additional surcharge equal to the standard delivery charge for your destination. Note: Certain products containing hazardous/flammable chemicals can only be shipped to addresses in mainland England & Wales and Scotland Zone 1. This is due to Royal Mail and courier handling restrictions, please refer to the delivery info on the individual product pages to ensure we can deliver to your address. Note: Special Order Items (blue message) have a specific customer returns policy. By ordering a Special Order item you accept that the initial order we place on your behalf is an integral element of the overall purchase and your payment card is debited at the point of order. What deliveries cost	Everybody likes free postage and at GetGeared we often have free delivery promotions on certain items. But it still costs; so rather than offering free delivery all the time and putting the cost of all our gear up for everybody we prefer to be visible about our charges. One thing you can be sure on is that we only seek to recover some of our costs and no more. For delivery, your order will include one of the following charges:

Where you have chosen only small or light items (e.g. a pair of gloves or sunglasses) the "Light Order Charge" may apply depending on delivery destination.

Where the number of light items exceeds the qualifying weight/size for the light order charge or you have heavier items in your basket then the "Standard Order Charge" will apply.
