RIDE magazine 06/2006 tested various rain combinations. The result for the HELD Mistral/Aqua jacket and trousers reads:
"This is our best value suit on test. It's among the cheapest, yet stood up well to all of our tests... Despite being made from very thin nylon, it repelled our pressure washer attack without leaking a drop, was easy to put on and only dropped marks on the road test for being a little flappy. Because it's thin, it offers little warmth so it's essentially a summer oversuit and the flapping will irritate at higher speeds and longer rides. But it's hard to argue in view of the price"
