MOTO-DETAIL Motorcycle Oil Temperature Gauge

The engine is only fully operational when the oil reaches a temperature of 80deg C. Few motorcycle models provide an oil temperature gauge as original equipment. This is where the MOTO-DETAIL oil temperature gauges offer a welcome mod to your bike. Simply replace the oil filler cap with the relevant MOTO-DETAIL oil temperature gauge.

Display can be moved into position for easy viewing.
Air bubble in display section is required to allow for pressure changes.

Please check that the threading of the replacement oil temperature gauge is identical to the original manufacturer equipment. In addition, please compare the length of the fill indicator with the length of the temperature probe. If necessary you can mark the temperature probe to show fill markers with a metal file, but never with a set of pliers. Please remember that the temperature probe is hollow. It cannot be shortened as that would diminish its ability to report the correct temperature.

Please carefully check the length and position of the temperature probe. It must not interfere with any elements of the engine.
Avoid steam and pressure cleaners.
Wipe over with a retail motorcycle cleaner and a sponge.

*Please note: Gauge No 18 does NOT fit Harleys with the newer push-arrest oil lid.
