AIRHAWK Air-Seat Covers 46X30CM - Large
• Patented DRY FLOTATION technology distributes your body weight uniformly• Improves your circulation whilst riding• Reduces vibrations & impact from potholes• Fits most motorbikes - compare dimensions with your seat• For both rider and pillion - seat is only raised 1-1.5 cmSitting on long journeys is hard on the body. Pressure on the pelvis bones reduces blood circulation, resulting in a feeling of numbness and making your legs "go to sleep". And it doesn't do your back or joints any favours! An AIRHAWK seat cushion deals with these problems, enabling you to sit comfortably for the entire journey.
AIRHAWK LITE - Larger size (length 46 cm / width 30 cm). Suitable for long seats. How to install the cushion correctly:- For the cushion to function properly it is important to install it correctly. You need to fill it with air first and only then adjust it. The cushion functions best with a minimal amount of air in the air cells. How to attach the cushion to your motorcycle:- Your cushion is delivered with a cover with four mounted eyelets. Thread a band through the eyelets and then beneath the motorcycle seat to attach the cushion securely. You can also use the cushion without attaching it because the underside of the cover is made of anti-glide material that holds the cushion securely.
Material - polyvinyl Cover - nylon/Lycra mixed fabric with polyester and non-slip vinyl-based surface Removable cover can be washed at 30 C Weight - approx. 300 g incl. cover Fixing loops for additional security The cushion is available in three versions: AIRHAWK LITE - Small (length 28 cm width 23 cm). Suitable for most pillion seats and enduros/sports bikes. AIRHAWK LITE - Medium (length 35 cm width 35 cm). Suitable for short, wide seats, e.g. touring bikes, cruisers. AIRHAWK LITE - Large (length 46 cm, width 30 cm). Suitable for long seats To inflate:- 1.Turn the cushion air valve anti-clockwise to open it. 2. Inflate the cushion until all of the air cells are inflated. 3. Turn the air valve clockwise to close it. 4. Place the cushion on the motorcycle with the air cells turned upwards. Sit on the cushion in your usual riding position and place your feet on the foot rests. 5. PLEASE NOTE! Adjust the amount of air by opening the air valve and letting the pressure of your weight control the seated position. Close the air valve. PLEASE NOTE! The ideal seating position is around 1 cm above the seat and you should not have too much air in the cushion. If, when sitting on the cushion, it deflates, fill it with air and adjust. DO NOT OVER-INFLATE THE CUSHION. The cushion works best when filled with a minimum amount of air. 6. Make sure that the air valve is closed and that you do not release all the air from the air cells by moving your body from side to side. You should feel that the air in the air cells transfers gradually from side to side.
