Modern cruiser saddlebags from IRON HORSE in faux leather with wide overlapping lids for weatherproofing and a sturdy back and padded interior to help maintain their shape. Each saddlebag can be removed via a chunky zip.

The two-piece transverse connector of the saddlebags is usually fitted under the pillion seat and partly overlapping. If this is not possible in individual cases, lay the connector over the seat. In this case, however, the saddlebags and the transverse connector must be secured using additional lashing straps from the Louis product range (not included). Pay particular attention that the lashing straps cannot comeinto contact with the rotating rear wheel. Adjust the transverse connector so that the saddlebags have a sufficient distance (min. 8 cm) from the exhaust on both sides of the motorcycle, even when loaded and when the motorcycle suspension is at the end of its travel. Take care when positioning the bags that they do not hang in front of the opening of the exhaust silencer where they would be exposed to the hot exhaust gases (fire risk!). Be sure to carry out these checks also after attachment of the saddlebags and before setting off.
