The two-piece transverse connector of the saddlebags is usually fitted
under the pillion seat and partly overlapping. If this is not possible
in individual cases, lay the connector over the seat. In this case, however,
the saddlebags and the transverse connector must be secured
using additional lashing straps. Pay particular attention that the lashing straps cannot come
into contact with the rotating rear wheel. Adjust the transverse connector so that the saddlebags have a
sufficient distance (min. 8 cm) from the exhaust on both sides of the motorcycle, even when loaded.
