Follow your vehicle manufacturer maintenance handbook. At all times, ensure that the hydraulic system is free of air bubbles eg. by tapping the brake lines. Use a brake bleeding tool for a safe exchange of brake fluid. Wear safety goggles while filling the brake master cylinder or at any other time when the fluid is free to spill.
Bleeding a hydraulic brake system requires technical know-how. If you are in any doubt about your ability to finish the job, GetGeared recommends you allow a professional mechanic to undertake the work.
