| | | | PROCYCLE Semi-Synthetic Scooter Engine Oil 2 Stroke |

• 2 stroke engine oil
• Semi synthetic formulation
• Optimised for air cooled scooter engines
• Prolongs the life of your motorcycle engine
Quick View Semi synthetic scooter and moped engine oil optimised for the demands of air cooled 2-stroke engines. The synthetic component ensures that the retention of an oil film throughout all engine parts is maintained across operating temperatures. The additives mix contains anti-smoke properties that prevent engine coking (a deposit of small carbon granules in engine, exhaust system and on spark plugs that reduces the engine performance and life).
Note: This engine oil can be used for separated oiling or mixture method lubrication.
The Techy Stuff This motorcycle engine oil exceeds the requirements set out by the motorcycle and scooter manufacturers and conforms to the following norms: API TC, JASO Premium FC, TISI, ISO L-EGD
The key norms and what they mean:
API - American Petrol Institute Used since approx. 1941. The S-classification refers to combustion engines and the second letter denotes the quality. From 1980 standard SF applied, from 88 SG, from 93 SH, and from 96 SJ. The addition of "/ CF" denotes that the oil has been tested using high performance reference engines. The API classification for 2 stroke engines is no longer in common use.
ACEA - European engine oil classification Valid since 1996, classes A1-A3 denote oils for petrol engines, B1-B4 those for diesel engines. Higher numbers denote better test performance.
JASO - Japanese engine oil classification The Jaso T 903 is currently the most important classification for 4 stroke engine oils, which covers performance within the main engine parts but also auxiliary areas such as the clutch. Suffixes MA and MB inform on slip resistance, whereby MA provides a higher slip resistance factor.
Viscosity (SAE) This norm describes the range of temperatures in which the engine oil will perform. In general, the smaller the integer with the W (Winter), the better the oil will continue to flow in cold temperatures. The larger the number without a letter, the better the oil will maintain lubrication in high temperature situations.
