For a great brand and clean unbranded looks, this Alpinestars jacket has it all. The shell is constructed from a PU coated abrasion-resistant Polyamide fabric that is softer and drier to the touch than ordinary biking clobber and looks a little bit like a tightly woven canvas close up. Alpinestars have developed this fabric (and used it in different styles) as a reaction to the coarse Polyester that dominates motorcycle clothing. Why? Because it looks stylish, protects just as much and if it makes your jacket look better, then why not? The jacket comes equipped with Alpinestars own CE Bio armour: developed to be thinner in profile but more pliable and more shock absorbing. Neck and sleeve cuffs are trimmed in neoprene for comfort. And the jacket is breathable and waterproof throughout the year with a removable full sleeved thermo lining for colder mornings. The front zip is fully backed by a flap to keep water and wind reliably out (that is the kind of detailing that sets Alpinestars clothing apart!). Stylish, understated, practical. Alpinestars.
