• Waterproof motorcycle boots with Gore-Tex membrane for touring • CE certified with TPU external ankle reinforcements for protection • Breathable perforated microfibre & comfortable soft joint pads
Support and comfort. These new Freeland Gore-Tex boots from Dainese are breathable and waterproof, the ideal mix for all-weather touring. The upper construction is of perforated microfibre for strong, breathable abrasion resistance, and the inside houses the highly waterproof, highly breathable Gore-Tex membrane. The sole is made of rubber to improve grip on both the brake pedal and gear shifter, as well as the pavement. The Freelands have elasticated inserts that offer a bit of give for room to move. Soft joint pads have been put in place at key locations to allow freedom of natural movement and increase comfort and reduce fatigue.
Construction and protection. The top of the toe area has a TPU gear shifter guard to prolong the life of the boots and the ankle has external reinforcements in TPU to protect the bones from impact and abrasion. The entire boot is certified to CE standards and has rigid inserts at the ankle on the inside to stop your foot bending in unnatural ways in the event of an accident. The Dainese Freeland boots are also available in women's sizes.

The GetGeared team reviews pretty much all the motorcycle boots out there. From Alpinestars race boots to entry-level touring boots. When deciding which motorcycle boots to stock, we consider the same attributes you do. Are they waterproof? Are they vented? What level of protection do they have, pound-for-pound? That's how we develop our extensive range of biker boots. Choose from short ankle motorcycle boots, motorcycle shoes, boots for adventure riders and more.
Not all those considerations are to do with styling. When the first motorcycle shoes and ankle boots launched, they lacked protection. No ankle armour pads, no toe box. And that is our job: to choose motorbike boots where we can tell you honestly that they will do what you need them to do. That is a question of protection, function, price and looks – all that together makes a great set of motorcycle boots for you. And we love it and hope that you enjoy the motorcycle boot selection we made this year!
