With this technical innovation from the Rev It team and their long-standing experience in motorcycle touring clothing, the Horizon jacket is a 'game changer'. It is a motorcycle jacket that will see through any weather, dries quickly and keeps you either warm and dry, or cool and breezy depending on conditions. The outer is constructed from a specialist 2-layer laminate fabric. What that means is that the shell fabric and the waterproof membrane are effectively one layer, which in practice means that rain cannot penetrate the outer shell. The jacket does not get heavy and the 'cold' patches we all know from riding in rain do not develop. So far so good. But it also means, it is possible to create large venting areas that allow for airflow straight onto the body. That is really what is required when you want to stay cool in summer! And those vents can be sealed to be 100% waterproof in the rain. Sounds simple, but it actually is a major innovation, in particular at this price point.
