• High spec motocross enduro boots from TCX • Polyurethane reinforcements to the heels & toes • Newly designed specific tread for enduro & motocross
Keep your feet completely protected in these Comp Evo motocross boots from TCX. They have a microfibre and PU construction, microfibre for weight reduction and tenacity, PU for strength. The inner lining is made of a breathable fabric and has double compound PU soft padding to the ankles. The closure is of the classic motocross and enduro buckle style featuring four adjustable aluminium buckles and soft microfibre upper which enhances the envelopment of the calf. Extra security comes in the form of a double Velcro fastening on the inside leg.
Protection is key to a good pair of motocross boots, and the TCX Comp Evo have plenty of it. For starters, there is the Double Flex Control system, or D.F.C. for short, which incorporates a PU joint at the ankle which has been researched and developed to allow 18 degrees movement forwards and limits movement to 15 degrees backwards which prevents overextension of the ankle joint and reduces the risk of injury. They also feature a polyurethane toe guard, steel toe cap, polyurethane reinforcement to the heel, an adjustable polyurethane shin plate, and a High Grip Zone heat guard on the inner calf for extra grip on the bike when pulling off tricks while reducing the transfer of heat from the bike to your skin.
Comfort has not been compromised. When you're riding your motorcycle in a competition, you want everything to be just right, being uncomfortable can make you lose focus when you want your head in the game. The TCX Comp Evo boots have comfort features for just that reason. The fastening band has a double flex control structure that allows the buckle to move with your ankle but remain fully done up which means you don't lose any freedom of movement. They are elasticated at the upper collar to prevent mud, sand, gravel and dirt from getting into the boot and under your foot, and a calf adjustment system means that, with the use of a hidden setup, you can move the shin guard to allow for different sized calves and even give enough space knee guards or braces. The sturdy aluminium buckles are ergonomically designed for ease of use, even with your gloves on, and allow tiny adjustment and perfect alignment of each buckle, which are also interchangeable.

About our motorcycle boots
The GetGeared team reviews pretty much all the motorcycle boots out there. From Alpinestars race boots to entry-level touring boots. When deciding which motorcycle boots to stock, we consider the same attributes you do. Are they waterproof? Are they vented? What level of protection do they have, pound-for-pound? That's how we develop our extensive range of biker boots. Choose from short ankle motorcycle boots, motorcycle shoes, boots for adventure riders and more.
Not all those considerations are to do with styling. When the first motorcycle shoes and ankle boots launched, they lacked protection. No ankle armour pads, no toe box. And that is our job: to choose motorbike boots where we can tell you honestly that they will do what you need them to do. That is a question of protection, function, price and looks – all that together makes a great set of motorcycle boots for you. And we love it and hope that you enjoy the motorcycle boot selection we made this year!
