What they have done is take the technology that protects your head and is built into any crash helmet, and adapted it for use as protectors. That does two things for the See+ motorcycle back protector: Impact protection significantly better than the CE Level 2 norm (EN1621-2), 7.7kN instead of the <9.0kN requirement, and a reduced weight compared to the Race protector by using a thinner outer shell. It is a perfect alternative for those enthusiasts out there preferring lower weight over higher impact values. The See+ weighs only approx.660 gr yet offers an unsurpassed combination of ergonomic design, comfort and high performance shock absorption. As the See+ has been tested for winter sports, up to minus 20 degrees Celsius without performance loss, it is perfect for a variety of winter sports.
