The New Rider's Blueprint - Nail your Budget

The New Rider's Blueprint - Getting Your Budget Right

Let's nail your Budget

There isn't one budget that fits all new riders.

But: I have a simple way for you to determine WHAT your budget should be based on what type of riding you do. These 3 main rider types define what gear you need & therefore what you need to spend - And, these are the 3 rider types:

  • 20 MIN Rider
  • 40 MIN Rider
  • 60+ MIN Rider

You see, everyone pretty much can stay warm(ish) and dry(ish) on a 20 minute ride. But: The longer you ride & the faster you ride, the more breathable yet windproof your gear MUST be and the more reliable the waterproofing MUST be.

You probably took our Quiz & know your rider type. If not, take the Quiz below.

Then watch the video above to find out how length & speed of your journeys affects your budget.

Bust The Myths

There are plenty of misconceptions out there about getting started with motorcycling, especially when it comes to gear.

The truth is, with the right knowledge and strategies, you can find high-quality motorcycle gear at prices that make sense.

If your budget recommendation comes out higher than you expected, check out the flexible payment options here that will help you 'buy once, and buy right' and spread the cost.

As you embark on your journey to getting kitted out for motorcycling, you may have some questions along the way. Here is one we get asked often:

Which are good for beginners on a budget?

That is what the New Rider's Blueprint is about. There is not 'one' budget that fits all, but I will show you how to construct your budget depending on what your plans are for riding your motorcycle or scooter and getting the best gear within your chosen budget.

As a new rider this place is amazing, no judgement just help and advise for this and future buys. The team were awesome and gave me advice on lids, security, clothing. They're not pushy and are very patient, would definitely recommend!
