Where to Measure
C Waist:
Without bending measure around your waist making sure the tape measure feels comfortable, not overtight or too loose.

D Hips:
Measure around the widest part of your hips and bum.

E Outside leg:
Biking trousers are designed to sit slightly higher than everyday trousers.
Find a comfortable point above the waistband of a normal pair of trousers (closer to your actual waist - see point C on the diagram).
Without bending, measure from thispoint over your hip bone right down to the bottom of your feet (remember to make an allowance for boots or shoes).

Quite good quality but a few issues

After looking around for a pair of 'tea bag' jeans I settled on these because Held have a good rep and I have other Held Products as well. After a little delivery cock up which GG sorted out quickly for me they arrived. The aerated panels are large and they let through a good airflow, the knee protection is adequate I'd say as opposed to good. The problem is in the length, if you are about 6'6" you'll be fine but there are no shorter sizes and its not possible to shorten them due to the zips etc. In fairness I knew they were a bit long but thought they'd be alright, I was wrong. The other issue is that the pockets have no zips or closures so useless on a bike really. I've given them three out of five which I think is about right.
