The Oxford Story
Oxford was founded in 1973 by Alec Hammond, who started by selling motorcycle top boxes out of the back of his car. Oxford slowly grew and grew, until they started to create products for their own. For example when they created their first Disc Lock in 1994. Now days Oxford still maintains its dominant position by launching new concepts.
Oxford is recognised for their innovative design, and providing a wide range of products which makes life on bikes better. This is one of the reasons why their products are distributed through around 100 partners worldwide, and sold in over 3000 cycle shops in the UK alone.
Oxford recently released it's new ground anchor range. AnchorForce is the first ever sold secure diamond approve ground anchor. It's a extra strong bolt-down ground anchor that fits all Oxford chains. And is insurance company approved.
